Dr. Thomas is from Mississippi, where she attended The University of Mississippi for her undergraduate education and then graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. During her time in vet school, Mary fell in love with the diversity of general practice and further developed specific interests in dermatology and pain management. Mary is joining Holt after moving to Dallas with her husband, Dr. Michael Thomas, who is also a veterinary pursuing advanced training in surgery.
In her free time, Mary enjoys being outdoors with her yellow lab, Duke, and her golden retriever, Harvey, and going to as many football and baseball games as she can (Hotty Toddy!). The Thomases are so excited to be in Texas, and can’t wait to meet new people and lots of loving pets!
